Weekly Wrap Up Week 2

I am truly proud of my children this week. Under all the circumstances that we have faced this week they diligently worked on Thursday & Friday and accomplished so much.
Both of them did two Saxon Algebra 1/2 lessons & two Shurley Method Grade 7 English lessons. Then we gathered around the kitchen table and worked our way through the rest of module 9 in our Apologia: Exploring Creation With Physical Science. There was two experiments teaching us about Acceleration & Gravity. The experiments in Apologia is what draws my children to Science. Ok, my son doesn't have to have a tug. His love for Science comes natural. My daughter has to have a drawing
The experiments in Apologia makes the curriculum. Last week my niece was here and she enjoyed doing an experiment with us using eggs. I think she was at loss to know that we would just take eggs out of the fridge and do Science with them. She had her phone out snapping pics.
Today my daughter and I have been working on my journal, logging our work for the past two weeks. We are caught up praise God & ready to begin a fresh week on Monday, setting on go.
We had a great day laughing and carrying on with each other while working making memories. I'm not sure the son enjoyed the memories he was making with dad. They were cutting grass, he he he.
This is a wrap for our week. Maybe some pics next week. If you'd like to read about some more fabulous weeks drop over to Kris's blog for the other Weekly Wrap Ups. I know you will be blessed.
