Ok, I've procrastinated long enough. It is time to get back to business with my weight loss. Last year I lost 36 pounds altogether. I did not start logging it on my blog until I was down to 210 pounds. That would only show me losing 22 pounds. My actually beginning weight was 224 pounds. I am proud to say that I am down to 188 pounds & the exciting thing is that I have been keeping it off. I have not been doing any extreme dieting or exercise, but a couple of days out of the week I have been trying to watch what I eat.
After searching the web trying to get myself motivated again, I have run across a diet plan called, "Eat Stop Eat." I think I am going to give this diet a try for a few weeks to see how it works. This is how it is suppose to work. I can eat anything I want every day of the week except for 2 of them. Now when I say eat anything I want I don't mean I can go over board. We all know if we eat like that every day the pounds will pile up. I mean I can eat regular food without measuring portions, but being reasonable. The other two days during the week I would begin a fast & allow the fast to go on for 24 hours with only drink (water, tea , coffee, with out sugar). I would begin one evening after supper & fast until supper the next evening. This is how the diet works. I just choose two days out of the week to do this. I think I am going to give it a try.
As I have said in the past, I want to lose my weight slowly so that it will remain off. So I have set a very reasonable goal for this year. I only want to lose 20 pounds this year. Of course, if more comes off I won't mind, LOL. If i can lose 20 pounds this year & 20 pounds next year then I will be with in a few pounds of my goal weight.
Here's a link to an audio about the Eat Stop Eat plan.
So today I'm up & running towards the finish line of losing 20 pounds this year, starting today.
Beginning weight: 188 lbs.http://www.eatstopeat.com/intermittent-fasting-video.html I had read a few articles about it, but the audio is enough to give someone the idea as of how the plan works.
