Watching the Storm

      This afternoon still praying for all of those in the path of Hurricane Isaac. This storm seems to be taking its time about coming on in on land. That scares me because the slower they are travelling, the more strength they can build up.

     In my last post I had mentioned that I had given my children an opportunity to make some extra points in Science. At that time things didn't look as if either of them wanted to earn any extra points. One was on facebook & the other was playing video games. Yesterday I saw them working towards extra points. Here are a couple of pics of what I saw:

Matthew started his painting of Hurricane Issac by drawing the outline of the storm & then painting the swirling cloud formation.
